As we are all well aware the needs of early childhood students are unique. What better way to foster the academic, social and emotional growth of our children that by providing an atmosphere that is conducive to their style of learning and is age appropriate.

The dedicated and talented staff at Virginia Road Elementary School is committed to creating a learning environment that will enable all children to develop positive self concepts, foster a life long desire to learn and begin developing the basic skills necessary for success in their school careers.

The academic programs at VRES focus on an interdisciplinary/ thematic approach utilizing a balanced literacy program in reading, hands-on instruction in mathematics and science, and the use of technology as a teaching tool. In other words, we provide our children with a world-class education that will enable them to live and work successfully and productively in the 21st century.
